He app itself functions well for me, i wish it blocked text notifications while recording though. Thats annoying as can be. The major issue, what you brings you down more then a star for me is the notification menu. You have a close button and an options button. If you hit close, okay its done. But you hit options and you hit open or listen and it opens the app and then theres a close button again. This is a ridiculous design. Why not just have an open and close button. No options needed? The only reason to have options is if you can actually listen right from the notification and not open the app. This update did NOT fix the notification/options issue

We love it. My group of pals are spread across the country and are in our late 30s and early 40s. We stay in touch almost exclusively thru Heytell (in chipmunk voices). We all wish that a setting could be enabled so that we could capture and keep our favorite heytells of each other to save or send to others. It may be a privacy issue, but surely it can be made to be adjusted so that the message creator can allow his or her messages to be shared by others. It also crashes constantly on the iPhone now. Can we get help with our favorite app please? We use it all the time and dont mind paying! Id pictures could be sent it would be awesome. My group toggles back and forth from Heytell to FB messenger to get the features of both. Thanks for the great APP! Please fix the crashes on iOS?!

Amazing and extremely handy for my family!! Perfect for quick messages and prevents getting stuck on the phone (whether busy or not so much at the time). Nice to review favorite, saved voice messages from my babies. Definitely recommend this app for everyone with friends or family.

I and my fiancé use it all the time. It beats texting.

This used to be a great app. Did not like the new design. Did not like the option to open close and listen. Also keeps crashing when I am sending a voice message. Also would not play the message sometimes. Need some work to become a five-star app again. Please fix these issues. Will then be a five-star app again. Use to love this app. Use to always use it. But now that is so unreliable we did not use it much. Please fix!!!

The app works fine, but the major bug is when listening without speaker phone mode. As soon as I lift the phone to my ear, it stops playing because the app ignored the proximity sensor, and my face clicks a different message. Fix this and the app is 100% Latest update still didnt fix the face blanking out the screen! Update: heytel crashes all the time now with iOS 9.2 Sept:24,2016. Still no update. Not sure this app is being supported anymore!

Use this to have asynch conversations with my friends that moved to New Zealand and Philly.

I was a little skeptical when my bf introduced me to heytell, but now after two months I have to say Im addicted. The convenience of being able to quickly access the app and leave a message without having to text is just awesome.

This app has assisted me in Marriott contexts. The creation of groups and the diversification of sounds is tremendous. It is also much safer to utilize while driving and texting. It occasionally has foibles and some messages are sometimes delayed. However, these are few and in frequent. Wonderful app!
